Robert’s approach to Estate Planning is to find the right plan for you. Whether it be a simple Will or a complex set of Trusts, the goal is to make the right plan for you and your family members, giving you the peace of mind that a plan is in place in case something or the worst happens. All at a cost that makes sense. And if the worst has happened without the right plan, we will guide you through the legal process to seek the best plausible outcome.

Why we started Anderson legal
Estate Planning and Probate Law are personal fields. Family relationships, finances, and other things that are “nobody’s business” are this business. It can be hard to talk about this subject matter. Furthermore, knowing what to do and the right answers for you and your family is never simple. I can’t tell how many clients say, “I just want a simple Will.”
However, most families and personal situations aren’t simple. I created this firm to help find solutions catered to your situation, no matter how simple or complex, to avoid hardships that you, your families, and your loved ones could face.
In mid-2022, my brother, David, was diagnosed with brain cancer. He was 41 and never set up a plan in case something happened. As Dave lost his mental capacity, I had to make his medical decisions, handle his finances, care for him, and provide for him. To accomplish this, I had to go to court five hundred miles away three times so I could get his affairs straight and give him a chance at life. Balancing it all was extremely difficult, even though I am a trained and experienced attorney. Sadly, he passed just six months after his diagnosis. This firm is a testament to his life and his family so other families out there can avoid the hardships that can come about. It is personal to me. I’ve been there.
You never know what is around the corner. Many Myrtle Beach area folks have relocated here and have an out-of-date and/or out-of-state estate plan or none at all. There may not be loved ones in the area to help out.
Coming up with a plan that is right for you is what this firm is dedicated to doing. We can help you develop a plan to avoid your assets going into probate, but think about all the contingencies to ensure things go smoothly for your loved ones, even if the worst happens.
